Perler Boards! Perfect for glazing resin.

Perler boards will save you when you're glazing resin. I like to put on gloves and glaze with my fingertips then put them on the boards. These help me keep my counters clean from resin. Yeah, finally. I love the resin outlet cover.

Resin Outlet Cover

esin is never a o-e day process -- unless you're dealing with UV resin, which is one of the next resins I would like to try. My walls are painted in a rose-colored Venetian plaster paint from Home Depot. That inspiration came from the wallpaper in the "Amelie" movie. I love my walls, and I'm impressed with the results. When the walls were first done, the switch plate covers were painted gold but one recently broke.  I now needed a cover, so I decided to make one. I do like how it turned out, but I want it more of a brassy gold instead of a yellowish gold.
This is the back of the light switch cover, which sits flush with the wall so its perfectly flat.
